Some of you may or may not be aware that October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. I’m quite passionate about this issue, so for the month of October, I’ll be posting magnets and wine charms to help raise awareness on domestic violence. In addition, the non-profit organization that I support to prevent this is Sonshine Community Services, a local, community-based organization that receives no core government funding to help women & children fleeing from domestic violence. They have their Sonshine Hope Gala on October 24 and I would love to see many of you there if you can come support.
